Delayed New Contract Process

Coming from Vodacom and moving to MTN, I opened a Samsung Galaxy S8+ contract with a new number on the 25/11/2017. I was told by Shogan who is a consultant at MTN Canal Walk, the vetting department will approve or reject my contract application within 24 hours. Once I receive the approved sms, I can then pick up my device. It's been 5 days later. Taking in account the black Friday weekend creating a backlog, 5 days to complete Fridays contract applications is pathetic. Time is money and MTN is wasting mine. Kindly escalate my contract application to higher management to expedite the process immediately.

Of course MTN is not replying to this complaint. I went to MTN canal walk store on the upper level on 1/12/2017 and enquired about my contract application and found that the consultant named Shogan forgot to add my 3 months bank statement. He blamed the copy machine, not man enough to take the blame. All I got was a sorry. That same moment I terminated the application. Valuable lesson learnt, MTN is ***********. Nothing was done to speed up the process and the vetting department don't let you know what the problem is. Rather pay for an expensive service like Vodacom where you know you will get value for money, going for a cheap service such as MTN, you will be faced with countless problems. Of course the managers aren't bothered about this loss because they already making lots of money by using cheap *********** staff. Stay away from MTN.

Just checking up on the outcome of your staff members incompetence and still haven't been informed or advised of the outcome, will never recommend MTN to anyone because nothing gets done by them.
