Debiting my account even after I cancelled the contract

I called in September to cancel my contract and was advised that.the last debit order will go off end of October as i called after a certain date. End of November they debited my account again. I called them and the person I spoke to said I cancelled my contract in October and I know very well that I called in September. I have been their customer for years now and am very angry and disappointed in them.
