Debiting my Account
MTN has now converted my mobile number to prepaid after numerous and timeously correspondence.

However, I have now received notifications that my account will be debited with R748.50 for June and July 2015. I have stated that I am not responsible for the charges as my contract was not up for renewal.
When my number was converted to prepaid the Airtime, Data and Text amount was taken back as I did not use it at all.

Please just remove my name from your debtors list as I am not going pay the monies as I did not utilise the data received. All debit orders will be reversed as I AM NOT PAYING FOR THIS AT ALL!!!!
Thank you for your post
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused as result of the breakdown in the service delivery in one of our touch points.
Kindly note that MTN received an email stating that the number will be ported to another network. When the number is going to be ported the contract does not get cancelled as the number needs to be active on the network. When the number was not ported as previously communicated, MTN should have been advised of the change so that we can advise of another option available. The number was billed for June and July since the contract was not cancelled, ported or migrated to prepaid. The customer is therefore liable for both invoices and the RD amount.
The request for migration was received and the number was migrated to prepaid.
Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.
Regards
Lungi
