Debit orders after contract expired?

My mother took out a contract in her name for me when I was still in school and paid for it for many years.

As I became financially independent, she asked that the contract be moved to my name for credit purposes.

We requested that the contract be transferred to my name before doing the last three upgrades on the contract (that's over six years now) but there was always some kind of ***** up and the contract continued in my mom's name.

With the contract due to expire in August, I opened my own contract with the view that the old one would naturally expire.

Lo and behold, another ***** up, that contract is STILL running without any authorisation from my mother, and accompanying withdrawals from her account.

The retentions department contacted us today and blatantly ignored the request that my mom be refunded for the months MTN has pulled money for a contract that should no longer exist.

Times are tough and MTN seems all too willing to take your money and ignore any objections to doing so. This is, very simply, tantamount to theft and a very poor corporate image.

Could somebody willing and able to assist kindly take the time out of their day to contact us and sort this out.
