Debit order switch
It was with great happiness that I left Vodacom after 20 years and moved over to MNT. Since then I have received fantastic service from MTN, both telephonically and in-store. Today however I phoned to change my banking details and I was informed that my debit order will NOT go through at the end of this month and that I must pay a fine of R11,50. Apparently you are not allowed to change your banking details after the 15th of the every month. So I have given MTN notice that there will be no money in my Capitec account at the end of this month, yet they will still try to debit the account, knowing that there is no money in it. And because I have the audacity to change from one bank to another after the 15th of the the month, I will be penalised with a fine of R11,50. That is absolutely ridiculous, MTN. I have given you enough notice, yet you still penalise me.
Best regards,
Best regards,
Thank you for your reply. I have made arrangements to keep my old account open until the end of the month. I have arranged for funds to be available in order for the debit order to go through.
Kind regards,
