Debit order increased without notice

I'm starting to think that MTN thinks their clients are all idiots... So why not just take an extra R10.00 from this chump...
My monthly debit order is R289, this month for no good reason it's become R299, see the line below copied from my statement:
2015-07-01 DEBIT TRANSFER MTN SP A******3 R 299.00

So why MTN, why have to taken an extra R10 and why is it every 2 years around contract renewal time that you start messing up my debit orders?

Hello Dewald Schultz,

Thank you for taking the time to write to us via the Hello Peter website. We apologize for the inconveniences caused.

Our prices have been increased by 10% hence the added R10 on your Anytime package subscription price.

MTN has not increased contract subscription prices for over a decade despite increasing operational costs, distribution costs, transport costs, handset prices increases, infrastructural costs, falling exchange rates and an increase in taxes.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to your understanding.

Kind regards,
MTN SA
