Debit order date
<p>Last month I went and changed by debit order date at an MTN store in Hemingways, East London todebit on the last working day of the month since our salary date has changed. I was told at the store that the debit order date was changed an that in February it was going to go off on the 28th (last working day). Despite this the debit order still went off on the 25th (the original date). I just got an SMS this morning that the debit order is going to go off on the 25th (again). What's going on here?</p>

We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience that you have experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it causes.
Please be advised that the changes where not effective as the request to change the preferred payment date was made on 2017-02-20, during this period the debit order request was already sent to the bank which is why the changes failed. We will only be able to make changes to the preferred payment date on 2017-03-25.
We understand that the entire experience must be very frustrating and hope that we can restore your faith in us.
