Debit order 4 months after contract has ended.

So MTN

Please tell me why I continue to pay a monthly debit order on a contract that ended 3 months ago - at the beginning of AUGUST 2015.

But to make matters worse - you are now charging me more then my monthly contract. I have lived outside of SA for 6 months so I don't even use the line - yet you charged me over 400 rand this month - on a cancelled contract with a line we don't use.

Please refund me immediately or charges of theft will be laid and this will be reported - as you are now *****ing. It is ******* to take somebodies money without a contract or signed authorisation.

My number in the UK - ***

Hello DeleneK,

Thank you for your post.

We apologize for the break down in service and for any inconvenience we might have caused you.

Please be advised as per the terms and conditions cancellation request should have been requested 30 days before the contract have expired, if the cancellation request is not received the contract will move to month to month contract. The system reflect that the cancellation/pre-paid migration request has been requested 27-8-215.

The debit orders returned unpaid since August 2015. The last payment done to MTN via the debit order is for the July invoice. No refund due.

Kind Regards,

Alice van der Merwe
