Recently I requested mtn direct to upgrade my cellphone contract.I was told it will be delivered within a few days.

After a few days a guy from a courier company called to say he will be making a delivery of my phone,we could not come to an agreement as he could not estimate the delivery time, he wanted me to be in my house between 8am and 5pm to wait for the delivery, which was highly impossible.

That was the last time I heard from the courier.I decided to enquire from Mtn,and I was taken from pillar to post.I would be kept on hold sometimes for 30 minutes or more. Finally mtn is telling me they have delivered the phone and that the upgrade was effected.

As I write this, I have not yet received my phone, but the upgrade is effected.I request mtn to cancel the upgrade and tell the couriers to fetch the phone where they delivered it.

We have contacted the RTT Delivery department they confirmed that the device was sent back to Midrand stores on the 14th of May.
We have sent the request to the Midrand store to assist us with the RMA number, once this confirmation is received the upgrade contract for cell number *** will be reversed and the number converted to prepaid. The number will be converted to prepaid note all data, airtime, minutes or data left on the sim card will be lost once the prepaid migration is done.
