Data used at fast rates

I have had the worst past week with mtn.I’ve been with this network for years and let me say never did I have to buy as much airtime as in this week. The airtime I bought had been used at a rate completely impossible for what I used it for, which is Whatsapp,I had switched off all my apps to make sure nothing else took my data. Just yesterday I bought 300mb and 100 mb airtime it was finished by 11pm I had only used Whatsapp and part of the evening I even used Wifi and switched my data off. This was just last night the rest of the week went exactly the same I’ve spent about R30 or more a day on data.friends and family have also told me they’ve experienced times where mtn would send them up to 800mb which they did not load then remove it.I do not know what the issue is but mtn needs to sort this out its rediculous and makes me afraid to buy more airtime because it’s a waste of money on their network.
