For the last 3 months, MTN has been taking my data even though legislation compels them to roll it over!!!! Yesterday I had 2.45G data and now 0 !!! Why does MTN continually ***** from customers and nothing is done about it. I wonder if they would respond if I cancelled the debit order that I use to pay for the contract!!!

Good day Anthony,
Thank you for your patience.
Please note in regards to roll over data
The effective date has been suspended pending litigation between the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) and mobile network operators, including MTN.
The existing carry over rules still apply and going forward MTN is committed to complying with all regulations.
We would advise that you also have an option to purchase 60 days bundles should you feel you will take longer to deplete your bundles.
Thank you for taking time to raise your concerns with MTN. Please accept our apologies for the delay in reverting to you with a response.
