Data Spike - Customer Service Sucks

My last two invoices accrued an amount of R5500 and to date it stands on around R7800. I logged a complaint on their website and received zero responses until I emailed their customer care. The reference number given was ***. I have been emailing Customer Care where they requested security information just to then ask me to contact Customer Care or go to a branch. I have no records for April 2015 and I pay itemised billing. I called twice and calls were held up for 45 minutes and 25 minutes with no assistance.
I emailed requesting assistance with roaming on 2 July and received a response on 28 July!!! Really???
When I signed the contract, I was supposed to get an additional 150MB data with the 350MB of data. I only got it for the first month or so. Thereafer, nothing. When I queried it, they asked me to email them the contract!!! I mean really??? Why the heck then sign an original and submit it to their branch?? I am still struggling and cannot wait for October 2015 to end all ties with MTN after more being a customer for more than 12 years

Hello Ashlan1610,

Thank you for your post

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused as result of the breakdown in the service delivery in one of our touch points.

The itemized billing request has been logged for the March and April invoice. The reference number is Request ***.

The request to activate roaming on the number/s needs to be sent to us or call 808 so that the product can be loaded on the number. MTN needs to have a roaming agreement with that country for the service to be available and operational.

Both numbers have been provisioned with data as per the agreement on the package from the date the contract was taken.
1. *** is provisioned with 350MB of data
2. *** is provisioned with 2GB plus 3GB of data.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Regards
Lungi
