Data share problems

I have contacted the MTN prepaid contact center regarding an error with data sharing from an MTN contract number to my MTN prepaid number and I was told that this cannot be done as data sharing is only allowed between contract to contract numbers or prepaid to prepaid numbers. This is not in line with the new data regulations with states that data sharing should be allowed on numbers on the same network. The agent even checked with her manager who said this is not allowed. MTN needs to update their staff on laws and regulations which have an impact on that person's job function.
