DATA PACKAGE- SIM ONLY DEAL QUERY
think that this has gone to far. It has been 10 months later. I have gone back in forth to store calling and sending emails wasting my time and money to resolve an issue caused by MTN staff. I want this resolve as I see that this will affect my credit record. my next step would be to escalate this matter to the consumer protection and credit management to show how useless this service provider is and now having debt collector calling me about extra money MTN want me to pay. We do pick up that the billing department has placed a credit to the account:
Good Day
SR# ***
A credit request of R4135.56 incl. vat for 5GB bundle incorrectly charged , has been sent through for approval for cell no: *** for invoice dated 2018-111-11 to 2019-11-11.
Credit may take up to 30 days to reflect on the client’s MTNSP account.
Notes:
Incorrect 5GB Bundle now removed.
Going forward client will be charged R329 per month and not R299 (as per package price increase in June).
R2452.48 (client is still liable to pay this).

The request is sent to the legal department to notify the debt collectors to close the file and no more calling you for wrong balance owing. This can take up to 21 days to clear.
