Data going quickly in lockdown
I opened a contract in Dec 2019 with MTN and got the mega deal with a router for wi fi. For that period had no problems and with the lockdown Im experencing that my 20gig recurring data through the day is going very fast and im not using youtube, no downloads or updates only early morning night express im downloading, reading news about convid 19 and even updates and e-mailing. Im to scared now and troubled because im working from home and need to do assignments for the business but the data is flying. How is it even possible but night express I do 80% more stuff and its not using 2% of my data.

16 Apr 2020, 11:58Thank you for your post. We sincere apologized for any inconvenienced caused to you. MTN cannot investigate your request now, due to the invoice for May not as yet finalized. You need to wait for your invoice to be finalized once finalized you can call the 135 service center to request for the itemized billing report to reflect the data usage. The reason the session deducted so much data is due to all the pending sessions and the size of those sessions. To avoid this from happening you should log off all your Internet sessions, clear your browser tabs and restrict you background Note if you do not have this services activated on the account , R21.50 will be added to the account once you requested for the itemized billing report.
