Data disappeared
On the 26th of February, I purchased 70GB of data, which I primarily use for work and other essential activities. This data lasted until the 27th of March, when I was left with just 1GB. On the 27th of March, I purchased another 70GB. My mobile apps were turned off, and no background processes were running, but in just four days, 47GB of data was used.
I called customer service yesterday, and they told me that the data had been used and that they couldn’t provide a refund. Last night, I ensured that all background app data was off, and I was even sleeping, yet 14GB was consumed. I inquired about what was using the data, but they were unable to provide an answer. I checked the MTN app, and the data usage displayed did not match what the apps I had access to reported. Despite this, they dismissed my concerns and stated that they couldn’t refund the data.
With the apps I’m using, there’s no way I could use 50GB of data in just 3 days—it's simply not possible. The customer service has been terrible, and the agents even dropped the call on me. So, are you implying that I would need 700GB of data for the entire month, which would cost around 3800 just to access Google and four third-party apps? Previously, I’ve only used 70GB per month, and this sudden spike in usage doesn’t make sense.
Please, I’m just asking for a refund of the 70GB for the sake of peace of mind.
