Data contract upgraded without my consent
I got a call from a call centre operator/leech last year December 2015 wanting to sell me a data contract from MTN. As this was the only time I have spoken to someone from MTN I assume that this is where it had all gone wrong.
I told the operator that I am not interested in the data contract as I do have a 500MB data contract with MTN for R49 p/m and that I intend to cancel this, because I do not use it.
I have not had the time yet to go to MTN and cancel this contract and to my surprise my account was debited with R559 by MTN on 30/01/2016.
I spoke to the call centre where they logged a ***** enquiry and told me they would get back to me within 48hrs and if not I should give them a call. Well surprise, 49HRS later I called on which the call centre told me it has been resolved, whatever!!! I must mail the call centre with an affidavit and my ID and they will investigate it.

I have mailed it to them and they rep**** that I must go to my nearest MTN store for assistance.

Well, I will have to go, but I am worried about this as it already is dragged out. I do not think MTN knows what is going on. Will keep you updated.

*** and another ***
