Data and Airtime go missing
This evening I bought R60 worth of airtime and R80 worth of data. I was then in a meeting where there is absolutely no cell reception. Once I left the meeting I checked my phone. I have R0 airtime and 10KB worth of data. This cannot be correct and I have noticed similar incidences before. I really would like some clarity as to why my airtime and data disappear.

We would like to apologise for the delayed response.
According to our records both your airtime and data bundle were used on the internet. Between 16:20pm to 16:51pm there were internet sessions that used up your data bundle, following those sessions was another Internet session at 17:35pm which then used your airtime.
Please ensure that your internet is completely logged off after using the internet and make sure the internet automatic updates are also switched off.
Feel free to contact our Data Support department on 1555 (free from an MTN line) or *** (chargeable from a non MTN line) for assistance on how to ensure that your phone is completely logged off the internet.
