I have been buying data for the last work the situation got worse on sunday I bought 100mb of data after 10 min I had a balance of 00 again I bought 100mb on Sunday the same happen. This has been happening all this week. What got my attention was yesterday night I bought 500MB at night and sitched my phone off when I woke up and switched my phone on I had 15kb with 00 airtime balance I bought 100 in the morning switched off the mobile data when I switched it on I had a 16kb balance even if I had 1000 applications running at the same time this is wrong and to top every thing up I received 10mb and R55 airtime I cannot even use it

We are sorry to have disappointed in this regards. However your phone was connected to the Internet .Please note when switching off your mobile data you are pausing your running application ,but immediately when you switch on all the application will start to update again .
Kindly follow the following steps to help reduce your data usage.
On your settings, data usage, it will show all your handset applications, applications which are your default apps and social apps that are running. select applications one by one and restrict background data of all applications you don't use every day. As for applications like e.g Operating systems, play stores those are applications which the functionality of your Internet depends on therefore for such apps it is not advisable to close them.
