Damaged screen repair

I upgraded my contract in February with mtn to a Huawei nova 5t and I was told by mtn consultant doing my upgrade that the phone is eligible for screen repairs with the 1st 3 months. My phone screen cracked in April 28th reported it on the 29th by calling mtn call center since no mtn stores where open bcoz of the lock down,they told to contact Huawei as they are the ones that deal with such. Did that n few days later I'm told my phone is not insured for screen repair and I should contact mtn maybe they were running their own promotion, I called mtn hemminways where I did my upgrade n I was told that they'll check if the lady that did my upgrade registered me on Huawei after doing my upgrade n call be back and they never did. Went to mtn hemminways on the 18th n fortunately the lady that was doing my upgrade was on duty spoke to her n I spoke to her about my problem she called their Huawei consultant n after her call she asked me if I had registered on Huawei after getting the phone n I said no bcoz she never told me about that n she said she did not tell me about it bcoz she also wasn't aware about such n that their Huawei consultant never told them about this. I asked to see the store manager who never bothered to come n hear me out, mtn consultant came out n told me that the manager said she would escalate the matter. A week passed no response from mtn, I was there again on the 25th of May manager was not there another mtn consultant also escalated the matter to the manager n Huawei area Manger via email and till today there Is no feedback from mtn! I tried leaving a message on Facebook n a kefilwe rep**** saying Im liable for fixing the phone. I'm so disappointed n disgusted at the way this whole matter is being handled bcoz I'm still using a damaged phone, neither mtn nor Huawei want to take any kind of responsibility and I don't understand y I have to be the one to suffer the consequences for their own incompetence bcoz the lady that did the upgrade did udmit that she didn't tell to register with Huawei after getting the phone. Mtn does not care about their customers all they care about is making money out of us. Mtn take your phone n cancel my contract if you are not willing to fix it! My mtn reference is ***.
