Review for MTN and MTN Festival Mall, Kempton Park

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from MTN and MTN Festival Mall regarding my contract. When I opened the contract, I specifically selected a laptop from their brochure that met my needs. However, after waiting two weeks for it to arrive, I was given the wrong laptop. The box did not clearly indicate the model, so I only realized the mistake when I got home and checked the specifications. The laptop did not have the required storage and RAM for my work.

I immediately returned to the store on 22 November 2024 to report the issue. The consultant who assisted me processed a cancellation and had me sign forms. However, I was never given any confirmation of the cancellation—no physical copy, no email, nothing. Since then, I have been following up constantly, yet I receive no updates unless I initiate contact. Worse still, the consultant is of no help, and no one else in the store seems willing to assist. Every time I visit, I am told that only the consultant that opened the contract can handle the matter.

To make matters worse, at the end of December and End of January , MTN deducted money from my account for a product I do not even have! This is completely unacceptable. The lack of communication and accountability is beyond frustrating. None of the emails I sent have received any response !!

It has been almost 3 months now!
