Credit listing for account in good standing - refuse to provide letter confirming my good standing

I have recentkly app**** for a Bond and FNB told me that MTN have legal action against me. I called MTN and they confirmed that my account is up to date and in good standing and that I do not have any legal proceedings against me and that they would get finace to send me a mail confirming such but I never got a response and informed FNB. FNB however want a letter confirming this from MTN. I called MTN again and after 20 minutes trying to request a simple letter was put through to legal department and spoke to Ayanda Chauke and she insisted I send my statement to FNB - I tried explaining that they will not accept this and need a letter but was told that the letter will take up to 7 days and then they will send a statement. Again I told her that I need a simple letter confirming that my account was not in arrears but this time I was told that they cant give me a paid up letter as I still have 2 accounts that are open. I tried again to explain that the letter simply needs to state that I am not in arrears - I did not need a paid up letter but this was simply refused and told that they will send info the the credit department to update their records. I have an offer pensing on a property and need this issue that should not be my problem in the first instance resolved ASAP but MTN does not give a hoot about its clients. I insisted on speaking to a manager and was put on hold for a few minutes and upon return was told that the legal supervisor - Clair Walker would send me a letter today - needless to say the day is over and I still have not received anything. I am the client that pays MTN my monthly subscription, between MTN & the credit guys someone has messed up but now it becomes my problem and MTN simply dont care. I have already moved 6 of my accounts away from MTN and will be moving the last 2 away ASAP and all because they have no clue what customer services actually means.
