Credit check on upgrades??

I was due for an upgrade for 2 devices (which I took at the same time) then when I chose my 2 new devices, apparently I dont qualify for one of them. I'm my research (even calling mtn) I discovered no credit check will be done for upgrades as I am very strict when it comes to my credit score. Only to receive a call advising one was approved and the other declined. With no valid reason. They ran credit checks for both devices separately and this affects my credit score. Now I have a lower credit score and 1 device for my wife and nothing for myself. Very disappointed in MTN. I have never missed a payment or gave them any hassles whatsoever. In terms of the service they provide its shocking to say the least. This entire mess makes me want to pull all my business from MTN as they do not bother when it comes to service. They are not at all transparent as they ran those checks when I was under the impression that it wouldn't need to be done. Truly disappointing experience. I am done with MTN as this post will not render a different result. This is for everyone to see.
