******* business practices MTN Ghana

2 days ago a MTN agent sold me a 400Gb mobile data package. This afternoon... after having downloaded less than 5Gb my network access disappeared. I initially ascribed it to Men's general poor signal in Ghana but then I decided to investigate. While my router reported zero signal my phone reported a healthy H+ signal (healthy for the rural environment). By the plot thickens, thinking my router might be faulty, I swoped my phone SIM into the router... full coverage (zero network dissapeared). I repeated this operation with a Vodafone SIM and achieved even better results.

I will be laying theft / ***** charges with the local police as what MTN has done to my account is simply unacceptable. If they are unwilling to allow me to download that volume of data, why take my money (with the promise to deliver).

I have made contact with a number of disgruntled local activists and the general consensus is that is this is what I am experiencing, how may other unsuspecting customers are being de*****ed by this company.

I think it is high time that these mobile operators who have been operating with impunity be taken to task.

My name is Thomas and the affected account is +233 54 ********** .

We will be creating a Facebook presense to inform the public of the unfair and ******* practice.

In conclusion I would like to add, before you fall for the publicity and the promotion hype, ask around... Vodafone might just be the better choice.
