Contract Upgrade messed up by MTN

I upgarded my contract on the 20 April 2015. I received 1G data same day as per the contract. This 1G lasted me for 2-3 days. On the 22April 2015,I downloaded 1G and received 1G free as per MTN's promotion. On the 24 April I loaded R30 airtime. My horror with MTN started on the 08 May 2015 when I received an sms from MTN stating that I have exceeded my limit of R2600 and my services have been suspended.A few minutes later,I received another sms stating that my services are in the process of being reinstated.I took that for sms error done by MTN.I then received an sms again from MTN stating that I have been credited with 2G data.I called the call centre and spoke to a consultant who stated that I had an open line and that I had reached my limit.I asked what she meant by open line as I remember that besides the 2G they chose to give me on the 08 May 2015,I never received free data or airtime from MTN.She could not explain this and said she will log the query with their customer care. The customer care rep**** to me with the same response that the call centre agent gave me. Note that from the 8 May I have not been able to use my phone, cant load airtime/data.<br> I need this mess sorted.

Hello RantsaneML,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I am terribly sorry for the inconveniences experienced as a result this. I completely understand the frustration it causes. According to our records the invoice for the 07-05-2015 is overdue and the credit limit can't be increased based on that.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Best regards
Mantoa
