Contract still active after 3 calls.

I phoned Mtn a little over a month ago to cancel my contract as I did not want to renew. I wished to remain on Pay-As-You-Go. A very friendly and helpful lady helped me and said that it would be done in 48 hours.

It wasn't, but I waited the month assuming that the account would change after my last bill. It didn't.

I phoned again and was told that it would be done. This time I was told that they had to phone me to confirm. They didn't, it wasn't cancelled. After about 72 hours I called them again, after giving them a clear 48 hours and was told the same thing only this time that they HAD been trying to get hold of me. I have had no voice messages, texts, emails, home phone calls etc and I said as much. They were adamant that they tried but they couldn't \get through". I still say"
