Contract sim activation

I opened a new dubble deal contract account with MTN on Saturday and not one of my sim cards are activated evertime I try to phone out there is a Rica bar and I have to go to the nearest branch . And when I phoned in I have to give my phone number but I don't know the phone number because I'm not able to call out to get the number.
