Contract not cancelled after it ran out and notification given

Hi, My contract on nr ********** have ran out in March 2018. On 19 August I phone 135 to cancel my contract but to change the number to a pay as you go as I will be out of the country for long periods. For the last two month I have still been billed the full amount? Why?
