Contract not Activated

I app**** for a 24 month contract at this branch on 19/12/2014. After all the signing and paperwork I left with the product. Today(16/02/2015) after a lot of calls, excuses and referrals to other personnel my contract was activated for the first time although I have been paying the contract since initiation, I was informed that my contract will be suspended again because according to them I do not qualify credit wise. All these information was supp**** to them beforehand only for them to figure this out 2 months later. As well as the fact that this was on an upgrade and not a new contract. It is utterly pathetic that this information wasn't processed and analysed beforehand, and for them to then sign a contract with you that you apparently don't qualify for. What a waste of time and money! I don't live in the city so it is a huge inconvenience to get this settled, for something that should have taken 24 hours it has taken 2 months and who knows for how long it would last.
