Contract expired, why are you still billing me

my contract with MTN expired the 22nd November 2015. I was not notified that the contract has expired and that I will then revert to being a prepared customer. I then on the 2nd December 2015 called MTN to migrate me from contract to Prepaid. End December I got billed R 644.50, I want to know what this R 644.50 is for? as I was on prepared in December. According to me my last billing was in November which I paid.

I'm being ****** here! Stop Debiting my account! I do not owe MTN. I was so glad that the contract has come to an end and I do not have to deal with MTN anymore and the horrible service. now it looks like i cant get away from you people!!!

Hello kananelo1989,

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

We've perused your account and we see that the debit order amount of R644.50 was for your invoices dated the 1st of December 2015 (R501.63) and then your final invoice generated on the 7th of December 2015 (R131.47 / usage of calls & data) when the line was migrated over to prepaid. Both these invoices are valid.

We can confirm that there has been no further invoices generated.

Regards
Tim
