Contract Data share

I have data contract with mtn. Been trying to activate data sharing for my other mtn number but no luck. I contacted the contract department they referred the Matter to the prepaid department. The prepaid department referred me back to the contract department. Which contract (sim only) is eligible for data sharing? I need to know that before I upgrade , I'm due now. The call center agents are clueless!!! Please assist
