Contract cancelled at no notice

My MTN contract was cancelled on 30/11/2017 with no prior warning or notification. This was the date of the contract to reach its end which was requested that the sim be migrated to pay-as-you-go. This was however not done and it has been 5 days without this issue being resolved. MTN's service delivery to customers who have used the service for many years is utterly disgusting and just shows the character of the company. They take your money every month and have no intention on assisting when there is an issue which they caused for no apparent reason.

The issue still hast been sorted in over a week now. I cannot believe how terrible of service has been delivered although the fault was caused by MTN. I've had to spend R320 to buy data which is due to this issue as I have a subscription with Afrihost on my sim and now cannot be accessed. When does MTN come to the party to assist and sort this issue out that they have caused. This is truly unacceptable and shows what MTN does to loyal customers. No one who we cal can even assist so what is the point of a call center?
