CONTRACT CANCELLATION WOES
I had a topup contract with this mtn up until a week or so. I requested the contract to be cancelled on the 12 August, only for mtn to cancel it on their own date. On the 14 August i was topped up with R200 airtime as usual. I called Mtn several times to ask them how is that happening, and on those occasions, was told the cancellation is still being escalated to the cancelling department. About a week the contract was cancelled and all that. Am now in pay as you go (I wonder go where with mtn). Last night my bank account was debited with R255 and in my several call with mtn before this, I was informed that as I have requested to cancel the contract, the topped up airtime I will forfeit and not pay for it. I did forfeit the airtime (some of it), and still have to pay the bill. All along the duration of the contract I have been paying R239, as for R255 I am shocked now. Today 2015/09/02, i just called mtn to get clarity on this and i was never surprised to be told to call after 2 hours. This is very disgusting of mtn. I have had multiple contract with Vodacom and never had any issues. Anyone thinking of dealing with this emptyN can just take their money and make fire with it instea
