Contract cancellation nightmare

MTN customer care is so frustrating when it comes to contract cancellation.

Yesterday I called to cancel my contract, when I was offered a sim only deal at R99 for 24mnts which I accepted, this morning I received a debt check from my bank stating that MTN would like to debt R2 395.00 which I declined and gave them a call back to cancel the contract completely, which is also a hustle, I'm taken from pillar to post. NEVER AGAIN SHALL I TAKE OUT A CONTRACT WITH MTN. ****** ******
