Contract cancellation issue

I have cancelled my contract more than a year ago. I have a new Contract but I still received invoices due for payment when I have no active SIM card of contact with MTN. Now I receive all kind of threats from dent collectors, been back listed. No one can help when I call into MTN either. I am wits end now.
