Contract Cancellation From Hell

I have been trying to cancel my MTN contract for the number *** since November 2020. Till today it hasnt been cancelled. I have Spoken to Phindile, Sbongile, Ntando, Ruth and many others from Customer Care and have references for all these calls. They keep on telling me that they can not assist me because it is their rententions department that deals with contract cancellation.

They also told me that they will speak to their manager who will call me back after my issue has been sorted but I have never recieved one call from them.

I have spoken to their retentions department but till today my contract has not been cancelled. when I took this contract it was R299 per month but now they keep on billing me R859 because they say I am nolonger recieving discounts. I have told them since October 2020 that I lost my job in June 2020 and I can nolonger afford to pay for the contract that I nolonger use since it ended in August 2020.

It has been a very long and frustrating 6 months of my life trying to cancel this contract with MTN all in vain!!!

I wrote to hellpeter In January but MTN has not done anything.

Someone out there PLEASEEEEEEEE assist me. I can not afford to humiliated by MTN like this.
