Contract cancellation and very poor seevice

I want to cancel my contract with MTN, it has more than run its course and I simply no longer want to be there, instead they mess up the acount and keep adding things never discussed with me. The latest is receiving an email asking me why I'm not upgrading instead of canceling. There is not much that can possibly keep me with MTN. Can my account just be cancelled!
