Contract Cancellation

I took a cellphone contract with MTN in 2013 which is due to expire on the 25 of July 2015. The cellphone contract is for 3 different numbers, last week i called 808 as advised by an agent in their Sebokeng branch, after painless waiting on the line eventually my call was attended and I was issued with three different Reference number which represented each of the numbers that I want to cancel. The agent told me that another agent will contact me within 24hrs but to date there has been no communication forthcoming.
