Contract Cancellation
My wife's contract came up for renewal and she received a call on the 7th July and offered various options. She accepted a new contract and advised me that evening of the new contract. I advised her that this is not what we needed and she agreed and cancelled the contract over the phone calling 808 on the 10th of July. she was advised that the contract would be cancelled. Well to date, she is still being debited for the contract.
We called on the 23 October to query this and was provided with a ref number ********** 69 by Gerald from Retention's Dept and was advised that we would receive feedback within 48 hours. No feedback has been received.
Called again today and after being put through three departments, was advised that this contract was controlled by MTN Direct and that I would be transferred to them. The call centre agent advised that the department that previously dealt with me, sent the email to the wrong department and they would send another email to the correct department.
Shocking service!
I want the following to happen immediately. Cancel the contract as instructed to do so on the 10 July. Reverse the fees charged and charge at the previous contracts rate. Advise me when this has been completed so I can consider what options to take going forward.
I was advised that my complaint would be dealt with within 48 hours, new that this was not going to happen which ended up being the case.
I would appreciate you standing by your word a BIG CORPORATE and treat your customers with respect and honesty.
I await urgent feedback
