Contract Cancellation

I have a contract that was ending March 2026 and I was told it will continue until I cancel it myself, I did as instructed and sent emails, called and was confirmed that my last debit order is April and now I am getting a statement with the same contract that is supposedly to be cancelled still reflecting on my invoice. I am not happy especially after I took the steps to get the contract cancelled.
