Contract Cancelation MTN

MTN pin 2808 Reference *** I would like to lay a complaint against MTN, I canceled my contract in October because it was ending end of November, in December 11th I received data and called to find out why am I receiving data and I found out that my contract is still on, I then dmded MTN on Twitter same day and they said they will resolve the matter, yesterday my line was suspended only to find out my contract has not been canceled and I have to pay.
