Contract cancelation.

In 2024 I had a month to month wifi contract with mtn, i received the wifi router which never worked a day , i spent my day and money trying to get the router to work, after months of struggling the call center told me to take it to the nearest MTN store, which i did , and after 3 months i was told the wifi router was faulty and they gave me a new router, i told the store i want to cancell my contract with them , i can not apply for a router and stay 4 months with out wifi . i was told to call the call center to cancel my contract, i did after months of struggling to get the contract canceled in September they arranged for DSV to come and callect the wifi . i gave DSV the WiFi Router and called the call center to cancel my contract but i was told that the contract will be canceled in 14 days after my call with the RMS number. Now to my surprise i see that MTN has listed me on creditberow in 2025 , when i call the legal department i am told i owe MTN because they never received their wifi router..i told them DSV collected the wifi router from me and i was told after collection i must call the call center to cancel my contract. Which i did .

What i don't understand is why my contract not canceled , after a whole year of receiving their wifi router , and the rude behavior of the legal department lady who told me that i must pay for the router even though it was collected from me , and she just kept quite on the phone never responded to my question , no solution what's so ever, MTN customer service is pathertic and you never get help from the people working in the store and call center.

I want that contract canceled , because i gave them their wifi router back, and it was still silled as i never even opened it when i received it from the store .
