Contract cancelation

I have an internet bundle contact for 3 years with Mtn. My contract expired already and is now month to month<br> I want to cancel my contract because I`m getting a new one with other provider. I ask Mtn branch at vaal mall to cancel my contract. They let me wait for 30 min after that they let me fill in my forms and then told me that they can not do it now as head office is on strike. I think this was bad from them letting people wait fill in all the forms and then telling you they cant process it
