Contract Application Conditionally approves yet credit overridden on their system

I got an SMS yesterday saying my application for a contract phone has been conditionally approved and when I got there today I was told my account is credit overridden hence they cannot hand me the phone, the employees have no idea when I will get the response to come back again.

It would’ve been better to just list problems on the sms so us as the consumer know not to go get the phone if it won’t be handed to us, I’m am highly disappointed at MTN and as a first time customer actually willing to give MTN a try I am reconsidering my decision.
