CONTINUOUS EXPLOITATION OF PAYING CUSTOMERS

I have been a MTN customer for years and my insurance with them gives me a courtesy phone should my phone need to be taken in for repairs. MTN insurance has apparently been taken over by Pinnacle marketing or Monitor administrators and MTN didn't notify me that this was the case and that my agreement with them would now change. I had to pay R150 for my phone to be booked for collection, was told that I will not receive a courtesy phone. I believe breach of any contact is a crime in this country and MTN should consider that should a contract change, the customer should be requested to agree or disagree with the new terms. I sit with a broken phone as it hasn't been collected yet even though it was said to be done in 72hours. I have notified this new company that I work with my phone and cannot be without it as I will miss out on a lot and will await a courtesy phone with collection. MTN has taken people for granted for years and I will not shut up while I out money in their pockets.

Kind regards

Sonwabo Sikweyiya
