Continued appalling service

 I POSTED THE FOLLOWING ON 12 NOVEMBER AND STILL HAVE NOT HAD A SATISFACTORY RESPONSE

Appalling service Mary M | 12 Nov 2019, 09:13 I registered a complaint on 1st July and was given a reference number Query Complaint [#398770]. Despite frequent e mail follow ups this matter has still not been resolved. I visited Northern Cyprus in October again and still could not access any MTN services. Once I crossed the border to Southern Cyprus I had services. In the interim I have successfully been able to have roaming services in Dubai, Turkey, Australia. Every time I follow up I receive a message saying the query has been escalated but without any further feedback. I have been a loyal MTN subscriber since the 1980s but I am now planning to move provider due to the shocking service received. Complaint I have international roaming activated on my phone in order to maintain contact whilst travelling as I am a frequent traveller. I have been traveling to Northern Cyprus at least once a year for the last 15 years and until last year had no problem. When I travelled there in September 2018 my phone noted 'emergency calls only' and the same thing when I travelled there this year in May/June. However when I crossed the border to Southern Cyprus my roaming signal was fine. Please advise urgently

Escalation has been logged for your complaint. This is escalated now to the Roaming group for assistance. MTN blocked certain countries/areas while we negotiate roaming rates, we have requested for them to confirm if MTN do have roaming agreement with Northern Cyprus . Your reference SMC/***.
