Content Charges
The problem of \Content Charges"being added to a subscriber's account without the subscriber being aware of it or having authorised it is not a new one. It seems MTN has still not been able to prevent this and will happily tag charges onto the account hoping no-one will notice or complain. Then"

A cancellation request has been submitted on your behalf to the relevant Content Provider
Kindly note that content service is not part of MTN services. The registration of these services is completely voluntary and is activated on the handset. Therefore, the billing solely gets traced back to the MTN number.*141*5# to view, activate or cancel any WASP subscription
We would like to assure you that we are actively working to improve our service levels.
