I have been trying since January to resolve Content Charges with MTN, first via telephone,, and then via e-mail. This morning I tried to phone them again. After spending 19 minutes on the phone with them I was promised that a Supervisor would phone me back within 2 hours(this is now 6 Hours ago}???

cannot activate this, content service can only be activated by the user of the handset. MTN do not credit the account for any content charges.
Please not that content charges are when you downloading information from your Internet or device commercial adverti*****t to your handset.
Please note we cannot assist you with the break down for the content charges because this is not a MTN service and we do not work on outside company systems.
The 2 content providers used was W2 Mobile pty ltd and starfish Mobile, the request was sent to the content provider to remove your number from the data base as per reference #***.
Please contact them on *** for assistance they will require the reference number #***.
For any other content: SMS STOP to ***.
On a regular bases you may check content service with the short code:
You may use the following USSD code to block the content service providers: *141* 5 # select option written content billing.
