We are truly sorry for the breakdown in service experienced and for any inconvenience caused.
We can confirm that the International Roaming & Dialing service is active by default on all prepaid numbers and the service is still active on the SIM card.
However there is only 1 region in the USA that allows MTN Prepaid clients to roaming on their network and is AT&T Mobility (Cingular Wireless) (Genesis Region). The remaining Regions do not provide any connectivity for our prepaid clients.
The only way you will be able to connect with your MTN number is to activate a contract. This would then only be advisable if you are going to be travelling to USA on a regular basis.
