Complaint Regarding False Advertising

Dear MTN

I am writing to express my concerns about what I believe to be false advertising related to a promotion at the Campus Square MTN branch. I recently visited the store and reviewed the MTN catalogue valid until September 6, 2024. I was interested in the "2 for 1" deal for the Samsung Tab A9+ at R579.00 per month. However, the store did not have any stock available.

I then contacted the sales team at 083 135. The agent I spoke to was unable to locate the promotion on his daily spreadsheet or through a manual search. Instead, he offered me the Samsung Tab A9+ for R319.00 each, which is not consistent with the advertised "2 for 1" deal.

When I asked the agent whom I could contact about this issue, he abruptly ended the call, which I found to be highly unprofessional.

I would like to understand whether the "2 for 1" deal for the Samsung Tab A9+ is legitimate or if it was misleading advertising meant to push customers towards the R319.00 offer instead. Your prompt response and clarification on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
